Building My Zen Garden - Kieran Egan

All I can say is that Egan’s Building My Zen Garden was inspirational: Steve can build his garden and I can write a better book about it. Egan is quite possibly one of the worst writers I have ever read. What he considers a sprightly sense of humor, I found ponderous, plodding prose. Although I was interested in the process, I found myself skipping sections–until I was at the end of the book. Yawnsville.
