The Secret Ingredient - Jane Heller

Jane Heller is, more than anything, fun. The Secret Ingredient chronicles the adventures of a relatively hip LA couple in which the wife–seeking the magical early days–visits a popular “doctor,” a mixer of magical elixirs designed to “enhance” … well, whatever needs enhancing. So she slips the herbs into her husband’s morning OJ, and he becomes a superstud she hates. So back she goes to the doctor for the antidote, only to discover that he has disappeared and is wanted in six states. What to do? This comedy of errors was fun and light, and perfect for this week in which I’ve been incapacitated by the flu.
