Happy Birthday Munshi,

When you make it back to Boise I'll give you directions to the hotspring and you and Steve can take Jenny the Ferocious. She loves it up there.

Have a good one!

Julio,

Thanks so much for the recommendation--I've been looking for a good place that recommends modern printmakers. I found Tom Kristensen through an article on artelino, but I seem to spend a lot of time trawling through various sites--so thanks again!

Are you an artist as well?

Hi Zia,

We seem to share the same admiration for Saito, Sekino and Yoshida. Your love for Japanese prints shows in the blogs. I own a few prints by Toshi's father (Hiroshi) and amazingly enough also two by Tom Kristensen. Tom and I belong to www.barenforum.org an online community of woodblock printmakers... so every three months or so we have a print exchange; a nice way to see what others are doing and also build an amazing collection of contemporary prints. You can view prints from all the exchanges online and also use the large woodblock encyclopedia and download book selections.

All the best to you and happy collecting...Julio
