Survival!
by Zia ~ December 27th, 2005. Filed under: Travel.Steve and I (and Harry) have survived Christmas with my mother and Wayne.
No small feat, let me tell you.
Actually, that’s not true. I am typing this for my mother’s benefit; she is sitting right next to me in the doctor’s office where we are waiting for her tetanus shot. She stepped on a rusty nail while trompling through the myrtle in the remnants of the ranch garden. It has been a fun trip, and we are all leaving tomorrow in a mass exodus. Then, two days on the road, stopping to see Steph and Peter on the way up.

Zia - It’s Wednesday Night, San Diego, and I just thought about checking your site out. Where are you now? How’s the new digs up at the ranch? I was just reminiscing today with Gab, I’m sure you remember her, about riding horses with you in the summers. Cool memories. Saddle butt memories and lazy days…a universe away, like a dream…I rarely rest these days…
Call me if you can 858-4530356/453-0056

I’m so sorry we didn’t get a chance to hook up … I meant to call, but the days were packed, and it takes so long to get to SD from Julian. Steve and I spent two days in his old stomping grounds in Venice Beach too. Next time I’m down — probably April — you’ll have to come up!
