Little Petra
by Zia ~ February 9th, 2007. Filed under: Travel.I ended up buying a disposable camera for Petra because my SIM card was too small, and if I get around to it, I’ll get those as digital images too. But for now, all you get are photos of Little Petra–which pales when compared to the big site. But since we saw this beforehand, it was still pretty impressive.

Impressive, indeed, particularly the last photo. The rock formation in the foreground appears to be a face in profile — perhaps a guardian of this space. Nice capture.

Ever since I read about Petra in a magazine article about 10 years ago, it has been a massive dream of mine to go there. So I’m very, very excited to see your photos. I can’t believe this is just Little Petra - the main site must have been amazing. I love the photo of the crevasse with the light breaking through.
