and I need to get a new one.

The only problem is that most cameras are so complicated and I have no idea how to go about choosing one. I would rather not have to get a PhD in how to operate it. Any recommendations for a simple point and shoot? Pretty please?

Polaroid has a pretty good one that is easy to use. I got one for Christmas 2005 and it’s worked out pretty good.

    Canon A710IS. Review: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/CanonA710IS/

If you want a truly pocket-able camera, I would suggest the Casio EX-Z850. They don’t make it anymore, so you would have to search for it, but it is better than the EX-Z1000 that replaced it…

I second Bill’s recommendation. Until a few weeks ago, that was my primary camera, and I managed to squeak some pretty good photos out of it. I still use it as my around-town setup …the 30D is too big for my purse!

    Here’s a recent set:

You guys rock! I’m going to order one … as soon as I get back from Ikea for more cabinets. Mr. Demo installed some when I was in San Diego. YAY!
