My tomato plants have vitiligo, too
Or perhaps, because they’re edible, vittle-igo.
Okay, okay, that was beyond bad.
Anyway, the dry leaf whatsit has taken over a lot of the pumpkin leaves, so I did some ruthless hacking this afternoon. And obviously, some of the tomato leaves have been starved for sun. It’s actually quite pretty:
And look! I have not one, but TWO pumpkins:
I just finished rereading all the little house on the prairie books, and next year, I think I’m going to try one of those milk-fed pumpkins that Almonzo grows in Farmer Boy. Which, in case you’re wondering, is most decidedly NOT a good book to read while you’re juice fasting, with its long descriptions of wholesome, fattening farmhouse fare.

So will Halloween night find you crouching between these two waiting for the arrival of the Great Pumpkin? Judging from your photos, it’s going to be a tight squeeze. (I mean because the patch is so small, no reflection intended on your size!)
What an excellent idea. Actually, I’ll be waiting between the pumpkins AND the Charlie Brown Christmas tree that Steve got last year (the in-a-pot-kind). No, there won’t be much space at all.
Sadly, Steve has compared me to Lucy.
When does your juice fast end? How are you feeling?
I’m on day 5. I love juice fasting. The first time I did it was hard, especially for the first 3 days, but now it feels pretty easy. I’m either going to do 5 days total, or if today feels easy, go to 7.
